The MST Performance BW-S5806 is the next evolution of MST's intake lineup for the BMW S58 platform, designed specifically for enthusiasts and tuners pushing their G80 M3 or G82 M4 Competition into high-power territory. Building on the proven foundation of the single-sided BW-S5802, the BW-S5806 introduces a dual-sided, dual-filter configuration that dramatically increases airflow capacity at elevated RPM, exactly where high-power builds demand it most.

While the BW-S5802 remains an excellent choice for stock or mildly modified setups, the BW-S5806 is purpose-built for Stage 2+ tunes, upgraded turbos, and any build targeting serious top-end power. The results speak for themselves: on a vehicle already running a Stage 2 tune on 98 RON fuel, a simple swap from the BW-S5802 to the BW-S5806, with no other tuning changes, yielded nearly +20 WHP at peak and a staggering +59 WHP at 6,300 RPM.

Upgrade from BW-S5802 → BW-S5806The test vehicle was running a Stage 2 tune on 98 RON fuel, producing 639 WHP with the BW-S5802 installed. After fitting the BW-S5806 — with zero tuning changes — peak power climbed to 656 WHP. More critically, after 4,500 RPM the gap between the two intakes widens significantly, reaching+59 WHP and +67 Nm at 6,300 RPM. If your build is pushing past 600 WHP or targeting maximum top-end performance, the BW-S5806 is the clear choice.
