Dive planes, when designed properly, can increase front-end grip and corner speed by improving front-end downforce and reducing lift in other areas of the vehicle. We utilized CFD software to improve the performance of our dive plane kit. This allowed us to get more performance for a given build volume on the car.
The dive planes are part of the Ventus 1 package for the GR86 / BRZ. The Verus Engineering Ventus 1 package slightly increases downforce without a large increase in drag. We developed the Ventus 1 kit to provide a safe aerodynamic balance at speed to ensure safety and improved handling at high rates of speed. The Verus Engineering Ventus 1 package helps the GR86 get more from the tires at the track as well as improved confidence on the street. The Ventus 1 package is more geared towards a track car, but can still be utilized on a daily.
