Lowering the ride height of the F55/F56 Mini has a profound impact on its handling characteristics, elevating its overall performance. The Mini F56 Lowering Springs, thanks to thoughtfully chosen progressive spring rates, don’t compromise ride quality, especially at slower speeds. In fact, they can even enhance the driving experience at lower speeds. However, when you push the car through corners, the Mini’s chassis truly comes alive. It becomes more responsive, direct, and exhibits significantly sharper turn-in capabilities.

Furthermore, these springs offer an aesthetic transformation for the car. They lower the front by approximately 30mm and the rear by 25mm, eliminating those unsightly wheel arch gaps. The result is a Mini that looks the way it should have right from the factory.

It’s essential to avoid going too low or opting for stiffer springs than these, as it can lead to an uncomfortable ride with bouncing and crashing, caused by a mismatch between the dampers and spring rates, and limited spring travel.

DCC compatible: Our springs are compatible with DCC. Our springs couple very well with dynamic damper control, maintaining the ride characteristics between the different modes.
