BlueStuff

EBC Brakes offer Bluestuff pads which are made of high friction sport and race materials that can be used for aggressive street driving and certain types of track use. This material has had much success on the track with quality aftermarket calipers and multi-piston systems with better release and cooling and larger rotors. The biggest advantage of the EBC Bluestuff NDX material is their bite from cold and progressive brake feel.

YellowStuff

EBC Yellowstuff is an aramid fiber based brake compound with high brake effect form cold and is possibly one of the first ever compounds that can be used for STREET AND TRACK DRIVING. These pads do not require warm up but do get even stronger under the heat of hard driving. These are not a low dust pad and if your desire is for a low dust premium street use pad, you should consider EBC Redstuff. When considering full race use, Yellowstuff has been a strong favorite, having been used for two years in the Swedish Camaro Cup and at numerous other race events where a stock caliper system is fitted. It is also the choice of 90-percent of the Mazda MX5 Miata competitors in the UK race series and has an unblemished record as rotor friendly track pad for vehicles up to 2000 lbs weight or 200 BHP. In the USA the SCCA and NASA drivers have been testing Yellowstuff with feedback and good reports POURING in from a 543 test driver major market proving event with these groups. RedStuff

There are TWO reasons our customers love Redstuff, First because they are the lowest dust pad we have encountered by reducing dust by 60-90-percent. Plus the minimal dust you see is very easily removed with a simple sponge wash as it contains no steel fiber particles as in ALL OTHER pads. Second they brake like an alligator right from cold (as good as Original pads or better) and just get better as they heat up. This material is a Synthetic Fiber based brake compound enhanced with ceramic particles. If you have previously tried EBC redstuff (pre-ceramic compound) this material is light years ahead. It lasts longer; it brakes better and is quieter. Being a hard wearing pad, bed-in times can be as long as 1000 miles and drivers must be patient until the pad takes up the shape of their disc (brake rotor). This is a truly impressive fast road pad for repeated heavy braking.It emits far less dust than semi-metallic pads and has been proven to stop a passenger car/sedan/sport compact/hot hatch 13 meters quicker than OEM pads from 100mph/160kph. Features EBC Brake-In surface coating which conditions rotor surface and accelerates pad bed-in. Nominal friction coefficient 0.5 with approx. 50-percent dust reduction. Most EBC Red Ceramic pads are approved to ECE R90 brake safety regulation.

RP-X Racing

Designed for vehicles driven hard on track, RP-X possesses a high friction level of 0.55 between 0 - 850°C and achieves 100% brake effect from cold. This makes RP-X an excellent choice for sprint racing or hill climb events, where full brake performance is essential without requiring any 'warming up', but also makes RP-X well suited to any type of circuit use where a high initial bite and powerful brake response is desirable.EBC Racing would like to emphasise that it is not a case of RP-X being 'better' than RP-1, rather it is 'different' and designed to provide a distinctly different response characteristic (more aggressive bite) which some drivers may prefer.
